Maroon 5 debut at top of US chartsMaroon 5 hit the top of the US Billboard chart this week with their first album in four years.
'It Won't Be Soon Before Long' sold 429,000 copies, edging out Linkin Park's 'Minutes To Midnight' -- last week's Number 1 -- which achieved the highest first-week sales of 2007.
Linkin Park's new album sold 198,000 this week, earning it the Number 2 spot on the chart.
Ozzy Osbourne achieved the Number 3 spot with 'Black Rain', his first album in six years, selling 152,000 copies.
Hip-hop trio USDA featuring Young Jeezy, Slick Pulla and Blood Raw, debuted at Number 4.
Meanwhile, The Bravery's 'The Sun And The Moon' came in at Number 24. Art Brut launch album with karaoke in US cities
Art Brut have announced a series of karaoke nights to celebrate the June 19 US release of their new album, 'It's A Bit Complicated'.
On June 18, Art Brut fans in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Austin can visit their local Beauty Bars to sing along with songs from the London band's new sophomore album, as well as older tunes.
Art Brut have provided their instrumental tracks for the occasion, minus Eddie Argos' vocals. Prizes will be given at each location to the best Argos impersonators.
Karaoke will be held on June 18 in the following locations:
Los Angeles, CA Beauty Bar
San Francisco, CA Beauty Bar
New York, NY Beauty Bar
Austin, TX Beauty Bar
